Spring is in the Air!

The best of the season is upon us. We have experienced a few luscious days of Spring rain, we are about ¾ of the way through the school year, days are longer and all of the Baby, Little, Big and Kinder Dragons are smarter than ever!

Spring season has included:

⍟ Field trip to the fire station

⍟ Tons of art

⍟ Creative play + Pajama day

⍟ Birthday celebrations

⍟ Construction + the expansion of the Camelot Kingdom

And much more!

Throw in a few rainy days to help out our California climate and we’d say 2016 has started out to be a FUN-tastic year!

Camelot Kids enjoy spacious outdoor play in our eco-friendly schoolyard!

“I love working in an atmosphere filled with beautiful families, wonderful teachers and the most amazing children who put a smile on my face every single day.” ~ Ms. Talin

Good times on school days include big red balloons, hanging out at the ball pit chatting with friends, Mr. George blowing giant bubbles and our very own Camelot bird flying high over the Kingdom!

Our bird returned from her journey as part of the L.A. River Project - River Of Wings. She is among many birds that were previously made by students at schools in our area, from preschool to high school.

Most of the birds are now installed at Thomas Starr King Middle School, but the bird that Camelot Kids created has returned home to fly high over us every day.

We have a very special Camelot Family Alumni to thank for this; Marcelle, David and their daughter Chloe, who goes to school with Ilan at King. Way to go!!.

Camelot = Community!

We would like to highlight a recent Silver Lake community connection that we have made with Glenn Shelhamer, who writes an informative blog that is definitely worth checking out! www.silverlakeblog.com.

As a local real estate agent, Glenn is passionate about Silver Lake, Los Feliz, and Eastside neighborhoods, he clearly knows these areas well. His blog includes real estate related topics, current listing highlights and added tidbits that you may find helpful.

He took the time to highlight Camelot Kids, and all that we are up to as well!

*If you know of a valuable community resource that you would like us to add to our Notice Board, please send us an email with your request: info@camelotkids.org. Thank you!

Signing off, for now, Camelot families, friends, and neighbors!

Cheers to a beautiful Spring in the home-stretch of our school year.

Keep up the good work in your world and we will do the same.
