Renae Plant, Director

Australian native Renae Plant rescued Camelot from closure on February 14, 2008, along with her husband Livinio, and a handful of parents who believed that Camelot Kids should remain a community preschool. Over the years Camelot Kids has flourished under her leadership. In 2014, 2018 & 2019 the school won the “Best For Your Kids” designation from the Silver Lake Chamber of Commerce and in 2016 was honored by Red Tricycle Totally Awesome Award as Best Preschool in Los Angeles.
Renae oversees the day-to-day running of Camelot year round. She enjoys a full life with her husband, Livinio, and their three children, Ilan, Mateo and Deklan, all of whom attended Camelot. Their children now attend Marshall High, Thomas Starr King Middle School, and Franklin Avenue Elementary.
Renae and Livinio served on the ‘Friends of King’ Board of Directors at Thomas Starr King Middle School for 2 years and spearheaded a campus-wide beautification project in 2014. This lead to the entire school being painted inside and out in the summer of 2015. Renae also runs [bump]™, her maternity clothing line. Contact: renae@camelotkids.org
