Ready for a Rockin' School Year

And we're off! Month one is in the books for the 2019-2020 school year and we are getting super-fun-friendly with one another as we welcome new CK families and new CK staff.

Since Camelot Kids LA started (over 11 years ago!) we have worked to build a community that welcomes families in areas "Just West of the Eastside", connecting parents and their children to a thriving Pre-School and Kindergarten environment.

This year is no different and yet, somehow, feels just a little extra special. Maybe it's that we have been a pillar in our community for over a decade now, maybe it's that now, more than ever, people want a sense of belonging, maybe it's just the luck of the stars and the synergy with all of the wonderful individuals that have come together for this school year.

Whatever it is, and all of those things, it's MAGIC.

In steps October....

This is the month where we begin a long stretch of celebrations. From Halloween to our Annual Thanksgiving Community Potluck to Winter Solstice and all of the special days in between.

This is where we get to relish in the moments that make for wonderful childhood memories ....and, where a lot of community building takes place as we gather together for CK festivities. We will laugh, dance, dress up and march around this little kingdom of our ours for the best of times.

CHECK THE BRAGGIN' DRAGON for a reminder of special dates in October.

Do you know what's hard to find?

Enough images of Ms. Gaby to put into a slideshow! Why? Because she's always behind the camera capturing special moments of Little and Big Dragons to bring parents into the classroom each and every day.

It would be equally hard to find anyone to take up her space in our hearts. Ms. Gaby will be moving on from Camelot Kids LA this month, and, while we will miss her tremendously, we are absolutely thrilled for what awaits her next chapter... MOVING TO LONDON TO START A NEW LIFE WITH HER FIANCÉ! 💕

"One looks back with appreciation to the brilliant teachers, but with gratitude to those who touched our human feelings. The curriculum is so much necessary raw material, but warmth is the vital element for the growing plant and for the soul of the child." - Carl Jung

FROM THE BOTTOM OF OUR HEARTS! Bon Voyage Ms Gaby. We LOVE YOU!

Here we are Camelot Kids LA families, staff, friends and neighbors - showing up each day to cultivate and create a thriving foundation for the next generation of exceptional humans. Thank you for being a huge part of that!

Let's have a FUNTASTIC YEAR.
